Daoist philosophy videos

This section contains videos about Daoist philosophy, as of Spring 2024 I am working on a series called Grass Dogs about the linguistic makeup and meaning of the Dao De Jing.

Grass Dogs episode 1:

Episode one is about the meaning of the word “xuan” or mystery in the Dao De jing. It touches on the essential concepts of being and non being, yin and yang as they come from the Dao.

Episode 2: Dao.

Episode 2, Dao: this episode deals with the meaning of the term Dao and how it is applied in Daoist philosophy as well as its use in Chapter 1 of the Dao De Jing.

Episode 3, Miao:

Episode 3, Miao: Miao means subtle or minute, this episode is about its use in the first chapter of Dao De Jing as well as tying the chapter together to explain subtle aspects of meditation practice.
